Terms and Conditions
1. These Terms and Conditions cover all purchases and override all others. Receipt of acknowledgement of purchase by you means you accept our conditions are the only ones that apply to the contract notwithstanding any purported terms put forward by you.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
Strictly with order or on delivery / collection.
Some printed items are subject to VAT, depending on the content of the artwork. If you place an order and this applies, VAT will be added to your order. You will be contacted to pay the VAT before delivery is undertaken.
If VAT is noticed on your purchase after the bill has been paid, you are liable to pay the VAT in full before receiving your products.
3. PASSING OF TITLE AND RISK
3.1 The risk in the products will pass to you on delivery.
3.2 All products, delivered or not, remain our property until payment is received in full.
3.3 Until such time as payment is made you will keep the products separately from other goods and clearly mark them in such a way that they can be readily identified as being our property and any payment received by you for any sale of such goods must be held in a separate account in trust for us. In the event of non-payment for such goods we will, without loss of any rights or remedy, remove from your possession those goods belonging to us in accordance with these conditions and we shall be entitled to enter upon the property where the goods are stored to repossess and remove them. You hereby grant us an irrevocable licence to enter your premises for this purpose.
We reserve the right to change any details of products advertised without notice and while every effort is made to describe goods accurately in the advertisement, no guarantee is given as to accuracy and no responsibility is accepted for error and any resulting losses.
5. QUOTATIONS AND CONTRACTS
5.1 Orders are accepted subject to our right to change prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices to take account of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today’s current costs of production and if these increase in terms of wages or costs of materials to us occurring after the confirmation of accepted sale, we will be entitled to charge these increases on to you.
5.2 Quotations are valid for 30 days after the date of the initial quote.
5.3 Any price or quotation is subject to change at any point without notice, including advertised offers.
All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate where applicable.
7.1 Every effort will be made to deliver on time, but any delivery day specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods. All deliveries will be charged at the prevailing rates applying at the date of such delivery.
7.2 Print Junction takes no responsibility for missed deliveries due to non-payment. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that full payment is made in a timely fashion.
7.3 International delivery times are approximate and may be subject to customs clearance. Local country restrictions will apply. We will not be held responsible for any delay of delivery of the goods with international deliveries.
7.4 Print Junction cannot be held responsible for any customs and excise charges that may occur from the import or export of the customer’s goods.
8. QUANTITY VARIATION
We will be deemed to have fulfilled our contract by delivery of a quantity within 5% plus or minus of the quantity of printed goods ordered buy you and you will be charged at the contract rate for the quantity delivered.
9.1 Claims arising from damages, delay or partial loss of goods in transit must be made in writing to us and reach us within 5 days of delivery.
9.2 All claims with regard to the quality or quantity of the goods must be made in writing to us and reach us within 5 working days of receipt of goods or these goods will be deemed to comply as to quality and quantity within the terms of the contract.
9.3 It is your responsibility to examine all goods delivered at the time of delivery. Print Junction will not be liable for any loss arising from damage caused to the goods in transit unless loss or damage is noted on the delivery note at time of delivery.
9.4 Claims with regard to non-delivery must be made in writing and must reach us within 4 days of receipt of our invoice.
9.5. We require any printing to be returned in full before agreeing to a reprint. If Print Junction deem the printing to be of sufficient quality, and within reasonable tolerance we reserve the right to return the products and to refuse a reprint or refund.
10.1 If in so far defects in the goods cause death, injury or damage to personal property, our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you in respect of these goods will be limited to the contract value of the goods.
10.2 We accept no responsibility for loss or damage arising from the supply of goods under this contract unless you have fully complied with the notification of claims procedure set out in clause 9.
10.3 Print Junction is not liable for any financial loss incurred by you, including but not limited to expenses incurred by you, interest payments & loss of earnings or similar gains you would have received on monies paid to us in lieu of any unfulfilled order.
10.4 Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the rights of the consumer.
11.1 We Reserve the right to correct defective work by reprinting and will not be liable to refund.
11.2 We will credit your account if we consider that a refund should be made
11.3 If we offer to replace, you must accept this offer unless you can show clear cause for refusing to do so.
11.4 If you do choose to have work re-done by a third party without reference to us you automatically revoke your right to any resolution from us.
11.5 Any defective work must be returned to us before replacement, if the subject work is not available we will assume that it has been accepted and will not provide a replacement.
11.6 Refunds take 3 to 4 working days to complete if Print Junction has agreed to refund. This cannot be completed any sooner.
11.7 CANCELLATION CHARGES - Any costs incurred for work already carried out up to the date of written cancellation will be charged and deducted before any refunds are made. If the order has not yet been paid for then an invoice will be raised for the amount concerned and sent to the responsible party.
12. QUANTITY CHANGES
Any changes made to quantity ordered must be made in writing prior to start of processing. Any increases made in the order must be regarded as a separate purchase unless written notification is received before work starts on the original order.
13. ARTWORK AND PRINTING
13.1 The entire copyright throughout the world in all printing plates, litho positives and negatives, artwork, designs, photographic transparencies, negatives or positives and any other artistic craftsmanship made by or for Print Junction pursuant to or in implementation of any contract with the customer shall belong to Print Junction Ltd. We agree that unless the customer becomes in default of any obligation to make any payment to us, it will not reproduce any such items for any competitor in the business of the customer.
13.2 All artwork is printed using CMYK unless otherwise requested by you the customer. Such a request may incur an additional fee.
13.3 We charge £40.00+VAT per hour for our logo design service for the first 4 proofs. We then charge £40.00+VAT an hour for any changes after that.
13.4 Once your design project is started and any preliminary artwork has been designed by Print Junction, all payments made by you become non-refundable.
13.5 Once you have placed your order, you have 3 hours to make changes to the artwork you have approved. After this time you will be liable to extra charges for amendments or new artwork.
13.6 Print Junction only quotes for one design per kind, any additional versions will be chargeable.
13.7 We will usually print your order before payment has been made, unless otherwise specified by us.
13.8 Please note that all images, text and logos are the intellectual property of Print Junction and are not to be used without our written permission.
14.1 Please note that the colour of the final printed product will be affected by the type of material chosen for the artwork to be printed on, as well as any applied Lamination or Varnish.
14.2 Please thoroughly check all proofs as once passed, these are deemed correct and ready to go to print, and the responsibility passes to you the customer. You need to view all PDF proofs at 100% to see the exact size of your product when printed. Print Junction will not be responsible for any mistakes, viewing, spelling, punctuation, contact details or layout. We will not go to print until we have received a copy of the final proof with a written confirmation to go to print either by email, post or in person.
14.3 Proofs are NOT supplied as standard. Proofs must be requested by the person ordering at the time of ordering.
14.4 Proofs MUST be signed off, and the sign off email received by Print Junction before 6pm, on the day that the proof was sent in order to receive the prints for the agreed deadline.
15. FORCE MAJEURE
We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in the carrying out of our obligations under the contract arising from any cause outside our reasonable control or by inability to procure materials or articles except at higher prices due to any such cause and in such circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or in part without incurring any liability whatsoever to you.
The contract between ourselves the Company and the Customer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.
Complaints must be made within 48 hours of receiving your order. The complaint will be reviewed and if Print Junction believes it necessary, a reprint may be offered. Any complaints made after 48 hours are automatically void of any offer to reprint and will not be considered.
